I am Me
In our teen years and even young adult age we are constantly trying to figure out who we are and what is our place in the world. Honestly I am still trying to decide who I want to be. As we grow up our friend group changes and our whole personality changes sometimes. Either we change so we can be cool or we change because we have a goal of the type of person that we want.
One hard thing I've realize is hard for teen girls is when it comes to guys. Like c'mon who does not want to have a good looking boyfriend who is sweet and absolutely perfect? One thing I've caught myself doing, without even realizing it was changing who I was based on how a guy wanted me to act.
As girls we want to be accepted and appreciated by guys, am I right? I do not think that is wrong that is how we were made, but wanting to be accepted by guys can be dangerous. You do not want to ever change yourself and give up who you are for a guy. The right guy will love you for who you are. Sadly it took me completely changing to figure that out.
So when you look for your perfect guy make sure he loves you for who you are. He should not want to change anything about you. You should be able to be your self 100% around him. Having to change how you act or even your personality because you want to make it happy is giving up yourself. You should not have to give up yourself to be with someone who makes you happy.

Feeling Lonely {Ashley's Advice}
Someone recently left me a comment that they weren't able to spend time with their friendly lately and they have been feeling lonely.
This is kinda a hard question to give advice on, since I don't really know your specific situation. I would maybe plan a day when all of your friends and you can just hang out. Whether you all go out to get coffee or plan a day just to talk. Once you are able to reconnect with friends, you stop being lonely. I don't always have time and am able to hang out with my friends, but I try my best to talk to them on a daily basis. Whether its emailing, texting, calling, snapchatting, you name it. I think if you just keep in contact with your friends, it helps you not feel as lonely.
I hope this helped a little to all of you that had questions. Please comment below your opinion on relationships too! I would love to hear them!

Boys {Ashley's Advice}
I was recently asked for advice on what age I think its okay for girls to start to be interested in guys and also how to fill your life with Jesus so you don't have to like guys. Now I am definitely not a pro at advice, but I love helping all of you in anyway I can. Also if you would like to add on to what I say, please do so in the comments!
To answer the first question, we can't help when we start liking guys. It is all apart of growing up. Some girls may start liking guys earlier than others. I don't think there really is a specific age to say that it is okay for a girl to like a guy. If you remember when we were little and we played with boys, and it wasn't a big deal. Then as we all started growing up, it became weird to spend so much time with boys. Its just a part of growing up when you start liking a guy, it isn't wrong to like a guy when you are 10 or however old anyone is.

Now for the second question, I want to start out and say we can't really help if we have feelings or like someone. We are humans and will have feelings for certain people. I don't think its wrong to like boys or have feelings for them. I don't think its necessarily healthy if you are obsessed about guys though. As girls we can get caught up with which guy is the best looking, who is the nicest, and who has the best sense of style. All of this is good, but we need to leave room in our life and hearts for Jesus. If we allow guys to become the most imporant part of our life, we won't leave room for Jesus. We need to look to God for our happiness. We shouldn't look to guys to make us happy. When we can be happy with ourselves when we are single, will be the time that God can do the most work in us. We have to be able to put our future relationships in God's hands. He will let the right man come into your life when the time is right.
I hope this helped any of you guys that had questions about this. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask. And if you would like any advice on a specific topic, please feel free to go to my Advice Column Page. (you will always remain anonymous.)

Relationships {Ashley's Advice}
I was recently asked on my Advice Column page for some relationship advice. Like what I think about relationships, and if the guy should always be older than the girl. So today this post is going to be advice on relationships. Now, I'm definitely not a pro when it comes to relationships, but I will try the best I can to help you.
Relationships can be a very controversial subject for a lot of families. I know many families who do not condone relationships unless you are going to court/date the man that you are going to marry. Now my opinion on relationships is that they are fine to have as long as you have boundaries. A relationship without boundaries never turn our well. If you are still living at home with your parents, I would definitely suggest discussing it with them first. Just get your parents opinion on relationships, and go from there. My parents and I have discussed dating, and for me it is okay if I get into a relationship whenever I feel the time is right.
Now the question if the guy should always be older than the girl. I think it really depends upon the person and what they want. I know many couples where the girl is older than the guy. To answer the question I don't think it is wrong. As long as both people have a mature attitude I think it doesn't really matter on the age.
I hope this helped a little to all of you that had questions. Please comment below your opinion on relationships too! I would love to hear them!
